6 Week -Virtual Trauma Informed Care Course

Participants will learn a deep level of self awareness and understand when the nervous system is dysregulated and how to bring it back into balance. They will learn how to identify the onset of emotional overwhelm and develop self- prescribed techniques to regulate their emotions.

We will explore belief systems and their impact on our ability to self-regulate. Understanding how nutrition can support and inhibit mental health.  We will also explore short and long term effects of dysregulated systems and experience the benefits of regulated systems. 

*At the end of this course, participants will understand how to tell if they going into system dysregulation and learn easy and accessible practices to bring themselves back into alignment. 

6 week course:

  • Weekly sessions via Zoom, private FB Group, Videos (combination)

  • Nervous System

  • Endocrine System (Hormones) 

  • Digestive System

  • How our thoughts and feelings impact our mental health and other bodily systems

  • Practice physical movements that help down regulate or upregulate the nervous system

  • Practice different forms of meditation

  • Experience other healing arts like tapping, scripting, energy healing modalities to improve mental health function

  • Learn a series of breathing exercises that can help regulate the organ systems of the body

  • Learn to identify barriers to mental health care and how to overcome them

  • Participate in 

  • Create a personalized practice of self-care and mental emotional health (sadhana)

  • Learn how your progress in specific areas of self-care/ Mental health that you want to improve upon
