Astrology + Spiritual Activism w/ Hummingbird Star (Activist Astro)

The U.S. is going through its Pluto Return which represents the themes of death and rebirth. Pluto is a planet of evolution and life force energy; continuing the process of life. For life to continue we need birth and death.
Pluto Returns represents exploring shadows, a need to let go of anything that’s not working and birthing something new. It’s an opportunity for death and rebirth IF we face our shadows well. For the U.S., it’s also a call to action for activists, especially for white activists to face their shadows.
Excerpts from our talk with Hummingbird Star, Activist Astro:
The outer planets have longer term transits, they give the big picture in astrology.
5:00 min. - The Pluto Return of the USA takes place on July 4, 2020. The stakes are high, people are waking up to the violence and injustice which has always been present in the USA.
6:37 min. - How the land of Turtle Island (the USA) and our ancestors are also rooting for activists and supporting us in tearing down old systems and creating new ones.
8:39 min. - How slavery, genocides, destruction in U.S. history is being reflected back to the USA through the Pluto Return transit. The planet Pluto has transformative qualities that encourage people on Earth to do the shadow work required in order to let go of the old and birth something new. It’s a slow process but the Pluto Return’s peak will be in 2022.
White activists are being called to do their shadow work in order to process and transform the darkness and horrors of the USA. There’s a huge reckoning for the land and country in the U.S. There are many souls who chose to be here at this moment
13:00 min. - The ancestors are communicating and working with activists in the present day to heal individually and collectively.
15:00 min. - There are armies of ancestors gathered on the land; ancestors of color (mostly what she’s seen) indigenous and black who are gathering for this moment of activism.
18:25 min. - What are the ancestors offering us? The ancestors are offering opportunities to work on ancestral and spiritual healing at the soul, DNA and cellular level. We’re being encouraged to choose love.
25:00 min. - White people are being encouraged to work with “whiteness” from a compassionate place and through social justice. White people are facing the history and legacy of racism. It’s all around them.
26:32 min. - As the Pluto Return climaxes, activists will be called in different directions. But white people are facing their shadows and are encouraged to approach them with humility and encourage instead of fear. There are many white men astrologers who attempt to write about the USA Pluto Return. But they’re very limited in how they discuss it because they have not done their own shadow work. They’re doing a disservice.
29:00 min. - The Equal Justice Initiative, Lynching Memorial and Peace and Legacy Museum in Montgomery, Alabama are racial healing places where racial accountability takes place.
31:26 min. - The role of lynchings in the U.S. and the experience of standing on the land where racial violence took place is described by Robyn and Keme after the Race in America program. The myth is that the KKK hate group are the ones who performed and witnessed lynchings. But the history that is buried and not promoted is that many everyday citizens like the dentist, school teachers, shopkeepers took party in racial violence against black people.
Robyn and Keme ask, “What happened to all those witnesses of racial terror"?” What happened to the bystanders and sympathizers who experienced secondary trauma. How was that trauma compounded and how did it show up in their personal lives with family and friends.
We discuss how spaces for racial healing is cathartic and provides opportunities to develop empathy and compassion for each other.
